Kitchen Cabinet Painting

Our unique specialty is our ability to professionally paint existing stained, lacquered, or previously painted Kitchen Cabinets, and/or Bath vanities. We are able to paint them for less than 1/2 the cost of refacing cabinets, or replacing cabinets, and have had consistently excellent results since 1989.

Most Painting Contractors do not paint cabinets, as they are like furniture, and need to be painted correctly for them to turn out well. Over the years we have had the patience, and the experience, to have perfected the method of painting cabinets, and we take a lot of pride, and joy, in having done so. We remove the cabinet doors and spray them at our shop, while brush painting the outer shell of the cabinets and the front of the drawers, in the kitchen. Belongings can remain in the cabinets and drawers during the process. The entire project generally takes approximately four or five days to complete, using the following procedures:

• Light sanding and spackling where needed
• One coat of top quality appropriate Sherwin Williams oil-base primer
• Caulking where needed, and the application of two finish coats of premium Sherwin Williams semi-gloss oil-base enamel
• Return the freshly sprayed cabinet doors from our shop, re-install the door hardware, and re-hang the doors
• This is also the perfect opportunity to update the hinge, knob and/or handle hardware to give your cabinets a truly brand new appearance.

The newly painted Cabinets will reflect more light, and the kitchen will visually appear much brighter and significantly larger. The final result is a very durable and beautifully finished set of Cabinets, transforming the Kitchen and/or Bath into a very attractive room, while adding permanent value to your home.
